Vision and Goals

Fieldstone Capital Partners (“FCP”) is a real estate investment firm which seeks to provide exceptional returns to investors by investing in real estate development and opportunistic acquisitions. The Fieldstone team has over 50 years of combined experience in real estate development, construction, and real estate investment. Fieldstone leverages that expertise and its deep local ties to generate strong investor returns, while focusing on deal structure to manage risk.

Strong Relationships

Following the housing downturn, capital and developers left the market, leading to the current shortage of finished lots that are available for homebuilding. Through its affiliation with Estridge Development Management and Estridge Homes, Fieldstone has unique insight into the greater Indianapolis market and is well-positioned to capitalize on the market demand. The symbiotic relationship provides the execution capacity to realize the value creation that Fieldstone offers. The Estridge partnership also serves as the preferred buyer for lots owned and developed by Fieldstone.

Active Investing

In addition to residential land development, Fieldstone is actively investing in commercial, retail, and multifamily development and acquisition. Fieldstone identifies and analyzes attractive investment targets, providing investors with opportunities to invest directly in real estate projects alongside Fieldstone, or as part of one of Fieldstone’s diversified investment funds.

Our Team


Clint Mitchell, Managing Partner

Mitchell brings 18 years of experience in capital raising and investing. Prior to co-founding Fieldstone, he served as a senior executive at one of the largest real estate developers in the country. Previously he led acquisitions and capital raising for a public real estate investment trust until its sale in 2014 for $1.3 billion, representing a 67% return to investors in just over two years. Prior to real estate development and investing, Mitchell held senior roles in banking and private equity. He graduated with an economics degree from DePauw University and currently lives with his family in Carmel, IN.

Paul Estridge, Partner

Estridge has over 38 years of home building, land development, and commercial development experience and is currently President of Estridge Homes. Over the years, Estridge has built over 8,000 custom and production homes and has developed over 30 neighborhoods. Estridge and his companies have received numerous local and national awards for home buiding, entrepreneurship and have been recognized as a top Indiana workplace. Estridge graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in Real Estate Planning and Marketing. He grew up in Carmel and currently lives in Westfield, IN. His strong ties to the area include his family foundation, which has granted close to $6 million to Indiana charitable organizations.

Jay Farmer, Partner

Farmer also serves as COO and co-owner of Estridge Homes and is an active real estate investor and developer. Prior to Estridge he was on the executive team of Accretive Health from startup through its 2010 IPO at which time the company grew to $1 billion in revenue. He previously served as partner in Accenture Ltd’s consulting practice and later CEO of its Internet Business Launch Center, through the company’s 2001 IPO. Farmer earned a degree in mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville and an MBA from Indiana University. He grew up in the Indianapolis area and currently lives in Carmel, IN.

Investments


Fieldstone invests in multiple real estate asset classes, including income-producing properties and development projects.

Fieldstone investments are focused on the greater Indianapolis market, where its local relationships uncover off-market deals. The principals continue to build its pipeline to create a steady stream of investment opportunities.

For its residential real estate investments, Fieldstone leverages its affiliated development company, Estridge Development, to execute on the value creation. In addition, Fieldstone partners with other developers and operators to augment its portfolio with commercial and retail real estate opportunities.

The Fieldstone partners invest personally in each transaction, alongside its investor partners. Investment opportunities include:

  • FCP Development Fund I:  Closed and fully invested.  Realizing returns on investment.

  • FCP Development Fund II and FCP Income Fund:  To be launched in 2016.

  • FCP Direct Investments:  Ongoing opportunities to invest directly with Fieldstone as sole investor in a project or to co-invest as a partner with one of Fieldstone’s Funds.
